Ensuring everyone in a video call is in shot and clearly presented to the far-end has been a challenge for as long as videoconferencing has been around. There are generally two main problems:
Often, participants closest to the screen and, therefore, the camera are not visible at all so when they contribute to the conversation they come over as an ethereal, disconnected voice floating in from somewhere at the other end.

The Intelligent Zoom capability is available now as an option which runs on the onboard video processor built into the PanaCast 2 device.
It is a customer-selectable option for PanaCast 2 cameras at order placement or can be added to customers’ current PanaCast 2 cameras at a one-time price of £120 (or equivalent in $ and €) per PanaCast 2 device via a simple firmware upgrade.
