New Galaxy-to-Vista Upgrade Kit

The Galaxy-to-Vista upgrade swap-out is now a field upgrade kit.  For recent Galaxy systems with VAC2/VIO2 but pre-PC-4 (*subject to serial number verification), resellers may order the kit to convert the Galaxy platform into a Vista system capable of running VCS software.  The kit includes a new chassis with fitted  PC4 Motherboard (P3, 866MHz), 256 MB RAM, XGA Display Adapter and Single Board Expansion  Box.  No systems components need be returned to VTEL (i.e. no return shipping costs).

XP and Win2000-Ready

To make the finished system XP ready, the old ISA-bus WAN card (ISDN, DDM or E1) must be exchanged for a new series 2 PCI-bus card (XP/W2000 will not support ISA).  Yet another money saver!  The WAN card may be ordered with the upgrade kit for the special promotional price of just $995 - a saving of over $1000!
