This is the "Rolls-Royce" of video visualisers - the ELMO EV-550AF.  It's brand new and has only been removed from its box for testing and photography.

Connected to a TV or video projector, the EV-550 forms a powerful presentation tool perfect for the classroom or the boardroom.  This high-end model is often specified to operate alongside professional videoconferencing equipment because the camera head can swing up to provide an additional room camera.

The EV-550AF includes two types of lighting.  Using the overhead fluorescent lamps, the unit can present printed documents or 3D objects in stunning detail.  It's back-lit base lighting on the other hand brings transparencies, overhead projector foils and even xray films to life.  The zoom lens even allows 35mm slides images to fill the screen.  But the EV-550 has another trick up its sleeve; it can switch between positive and negative presentation which means that photographic negatives may be reversed and presented at the touch of a button.

This visual presenter has it all:

• high-quality optics - a 10x powered zoom lens that is capable of rendering in extreme detail any film, document or 3D object placed on its base.
• swinging camera head allows the unit to act as a second room camera.
• overhead and base lighting
• colour, black & white and negative switching plus iris and auto-white controls
• two auxiliary video & audio inputs (e.g., from a vcr, DVD player, camcorder etc.) that can be switched to your presentation using the front panel controls.
• microphone input and volume control allow commentary to be fed to room sound system.
• packs flat with carrying handle for portability.
• accessories include European power cable, RCA/phono video/audio cable, closeup lens, dust cover and operating guide.
